The Monarch View Property Owner’s Association Board makes a strong effort to preserve and enhance the aesthetics of our community.  This involves enforcing the property covenants every homeowner agreed to follow by choosing a Monarch View home—one of the main benefits of living in an exclusive subdivision.

Most rules, like not parking your vehicles on the street overnight, not parking trailers, boats or motor homes in front of your home, having no visible trash barrels other than on trash pick-up day, are very basic.  However, others like painting your home or adding a fence, pool or deck require approval.  For all the restrictions and protective covenants, visit the Neighborhood ByLaws section of our website.

Complying with our property rules requires you to complete an Architectural Review Board request form at least 30 days prior to your projects planned start date.  Your request will be reviewed by the Architectural Review Board and you will be notified of the decision within 30 days of receiving your request.

For exterior painting projects, the Monarch View approved exterior colors are available at Sherwin Williams. Please note that even if you choose a color from this palette, the rules still require that you obtain ARB approval.

Again, you must submit the Architectural Review Board request AND receive approval before making any changes to the exterior appearance of your home.  Failure to obtain prior approval can result in fines and legal fees being assessed against your property.

If you have questions or concerns about changes that a neighbor is making to their home, you may communicate them to the ARB Review Board via the Contact Us link.
